Ever wondered what the best job in the world looks like? As no two people are alike not everyone will agree that this vacancy deserves the metaphorical award for best job in the world. However, personal preferences aside many imagine this position to include travel, amazing weather and a once in a lifetime opportunity.
ThirdHome, a Tennessee based company have done exactly that with their latest job proposition. They’re looking to hire someone for three months during late summer to late fall, with the promise of luxury travel around the world and a total salary of £24,000.
This almost sounds to good to be true, so before you sigh in disbelief and move on to another page turning article, know that ThirdHome is an “exclusive private club for luxury second home owners” meaning this is an actual offer not one of those scams.
Just like every job out there to qualify participants must meet a few criteria’s. You should be 18 or over, have a valid passport and no criminal record, be fluent in English, able to share the experience on social media and blogs, have excellent writing skills and be able to travel the world for three months. While experience isn’t a major factor ThirdHome have made it clear that someone with a writing and social media history will be praised. As a successful “exclusive private club” it’s no shock that they’re also looking for someone who appreciates the finer things in life, whether that be food, travel or luxury in general.
As amazing as this opportunity sounds participants would need to consider their solidarity, as the offer only extends to one person. ThirdHome have stated that a companion may accompany your travels however, their expenses would have to be paid for by them and not ThirdHome.
To apply all you need to do is fill out a short application and create a one minute video of why you’re the best candidate. They encourage applicants to make their video creative and stand out. The deadline is the 30th of March so get cracking. For more information go to the ThirdHome website or their Facebook page.
Good luck from all of us here at Carpe Diem.
